COVID-19 NOTICE

This Page will be updated as the situation changes.

Last updated: May 14, 2020

Dear Climbing Community,

As California and Nevada slowly start the process of reopening, the TCC would like to ask our climbing community to continue to take extra precautions to help protect public health by following the suggestions in the graphic below, provided by the Access Fund.

Most of our favorite climbing areas are located on national forest land in the Lake Tahoe Basin Management unit which has closed the parking and amenities at many of these sites until further notice. Therefore the TCC has currently suspended all of our public projects, like clean-ups and fundraisers, until we feel it is safe to return to normal operations. We are still working behind the scenes with land managers to continue our mission; To protect and improve climbing in the Lake Tahoe basin.

If you have any questions or concerns about closures or how COVID is impacting the climbing in Tahoe please send us an email and we will get back to you shortly.

Thank you for your understanding in these uncertain times,

The TCC Board of Directors
